We will set out early from Quito, taking the Pan-American highway southwards. After an hour and a half drive, we will arrive at the Cotopaxi National Park. Here we will have the opportunity to visit an interpretive center, a lava canyon, Limpiopungo lagoon, and then we will walk up to the Refuge, approximately an hour.
After a well-deserved rest and enjoying a hot chocolate or coca tea, we will continue our ascent to the glacier of the volcano. In the afternoon, we will return to the parking lot and subsequently to the city of Quito.
